October Home Sales Largest of 2008
Southern California home sales rose by 5% compared to the month of September, and increased by 66.7% compared to October 2007. Though the median home price fell, experts are pleased to note that sales volume rose in October and beat all previous 2008 levels to date. The growth in sales is an encouraging indicator for the San Diego real estate market, with the inventory of unsold homes now dropping faster than the addition of new listings.
